Have enviromental awareness.

I KILLED A TREE.
I just bought a new pack of organizer refills which i want, not need.
Because i'm a sucker for pretty papers. Along with my obsession for cute post-its and nice notepads (but that can be very much controlled).

What tahi "environmentalist" am i?

Also, i love writing, drawing, scribbling, contenging, etc etc. So very oftenly i can actually use a lot of papers.
And in restaurants where tissues are provided (those really thin types), guarantee i can use a whole small hill of it too.
Sometimes i also wonder what i wiped lor.

Which is why i can start preaching anyone on stop eating Shark's Fin Soup, or switch off your engine if your car is going to be stationary for more than a minute (waiting for people) etc... but i never preach anyone, nor will i do it in the future, in terms of paper or tissue usage, unless if they really really terlampau or "too-much".

Because i don't believe in preaching other people for things you yourself don't do well.
Cause i don't take Shark's Fin Soup (you'll get struck by lightning if you do), and i'll always switch off the engine if my car is going to stop for more than a minute (while waiting for people), even if it means i'll get baked considering Malaysia's weather... so i find it "appropriate" if i do want to preach all i want.

But regarding paper-and-tissue-usage, since i myself also don't do it well, apart from being a hypocrite, it won't be very convincing too ne?
(Random: I remember in one episode of Shin-chan, he was yelling at this woman for allowing her dog to pee by the roadside, but then he himself was pee-ing at the same time XD!!
Gosh i love Shin-chan!~)

Anyways, other more environmental fact stuffs... i don't use plastic bags anymore (thats why all my bags are huge, so i can stuff everything inside), but i'm a sucker for nice paper bags, so same, i won't urge people to follow suit, but hoping me by not using plastic bags will somehow show that it is possible to live without plastic bags unless necessary.
Also something i learned from Korea, lols! I got use to the fact that "i don't really need a plastic bag" after i got back, and i practiced it.

Oh GunYum, please forgive my sins of killing trees and perhaps accidentally making another baby Orang-Utan orphan because us idiotic humans are killing them by deforestation and taking away their habitat etc etc.

Hmm... i do realize that i'm actually a very "environmental-conscious" person, but NOT because i am especially passionate for the environment, but more likely because i care for wildlife.
I'm passionate about conserving and protecting them, especially Endangered Species.
Example: I switch off my car engine, because if i were to leave it on it'll contribute to Global Warming, which in return is killing Polar Bears because of melting ice-caps.
Ditto the plastic bags, because apart from it being non-degradable and landfill stuffs, it can actually kills Sea Turtles who thought they were Jellyfish.

Its all for the animals, seriously, all for the animals.
I'm also a sucker for wildlife very obviously!

Sometimes i wonder if i should be termed an Enviromentalist, because i care more for the animals mostly. Like i don't agree with deforestation for development if it means ruining habitats for animals like Tigers, Orang Utans, Rhinoceros.
We can always stay up the tree like how most foreigners perceived Malaysians are. Let's be nice and allow their small-stereotypical-ulu mind be right for once.

Anyways, to conclude it, at least i'm doing my part lar, however hypocritical and tahi-ey i can be due to the paper-and-tissue-usage part.
But at least i do care, i'm aware of the need to take care of the environment, so i shall not be condemned, much less from people who all-talk-no-action (condemns other people for not taking care of the environment, but they themselves aren't doing any better either). Seriously, if you yourself don't perform well, don't bother with what other people are doing. Do it well yourself before you start preaching.

I especially hate irresponsible people, who because they themselves don't bother with conserving, they push the responsibility to other people to do it. Just admit that you don't care. Don't give reasons because it'll only make you look like a fool.
Especially those idiots who give reasons such as "because other people do it too", and especially especially about Shark's Fin Soup.

Just because other people do it, doesn't mean you must do it as well right?

So idiotic.

Its important to care for the environment before we all kill ourselves.

Hmm, SiWon and me will get on well.
Just on different matters =P!
