kimchi fried rice!

No, it does not mean frying *ME* with rice (= =")... where do you get such ideas anyways?

Ok fine, I was the one who came up with those ideas... i'm just saying in case you get the wrong ideas...


So anyways, i've always wanted to try making kimchi fried rice, having succeeded making kimchi ramen which would make EeTeuk go crazy (ㅋㅋㅋ~)!~ Isn't it time to try something at a higher level?

Today i got the chance, i even forgo the chance for my favourite chicken rice, ah!~ But it was worth it XD!~


I did try to look for recipes online, but they don't suit me (in sense that i don't have some ingredients mentioned, and i don't agree with their instructions - trust me to defy cooking experts' advice?), so i improvise with methods mom taught me when she teach me how to fry rice long long time ago!

Though, i used up all the "kimchi liquid" the last time i cooked kimchi ramen, so the kimchi taste wasn't too strong, and it has very homely-fried-rice taste in it! But JUST HOW I LIKE IT!~

At first i was worried the rice wouldn't turn the reddish kimchi colour, since there's practically no more of the "kimchi liquid"! But the longer you stir, the colour will eventually turn to the very nice shade of kimchi colour, which makes it look even more appealing! And i top it off with a sunny-side-up egg!

I love it alot, am going to make it soon! I still have some left-over kimchi, hehehe!~


Though... i wonder if i can make out the same taste next time? Hmm...

The "woops" because i was so hungry, i quickly digged in before i remembered i need to take a pic =P! Hahaha! I was anxious to try out how it taste anyways, because it certainly looked good!~

Going to do it again tomorrow, just to finish of my remaining kimchi and to see if i can keep my kimchi fried rice skills up to standard =P! Hahaha!
