There was one fine day, when i was tidying up my room, when i realize i had a bunch of CDs. Like... really A BUNCH!
In fact, the place i'm currently keeping them will be running out of space soon (actually, it already is, cause sometimes i need to remove the whole lot just to get to the CDs kept deeper inside!)!
Which then it struck me, hey, I COLLECT CDs!
Of course, on artists i support, i rarely buy albums which the artist i don't support (duh). Don't mistaken this with fangirly-ness, both are on totally different grounds (from kimchi's point-of-view anyways!~).
And yes, as my cousin PrettyKat claims, i LOVE CDs, since i love going into record stores everytime we go to the mall, without fail, even if there's no CDs i want to buy.
As a matter of fact, the last time when i was totally into chinese songs, i know very well which places where i can get the best price on CDs, having being very stingy even for that few ringgit! Kekeke!
And yes, i always pride myself in being able to differentiate which version the albums is. Its not really difficult actually, you just have to open your eyes and read.
Anyways, here's a couple few of my favourite buys which definitely deserve a mention!
FTTS Transition Special Edition and Brian's 1st album - The Brian.
Somehow or rather, both albums are my favourite buys!
I got FTTS' one at a not-bad price, and i just happen to stumble upon it! So i totally treasure it! And i totally love Brian's album's album booklet - the quality is good, and the style is very nice! Of course, being Brian's album helps too! ㅋㅋ~
FLAME's BOY'S QUEST
This is my very first Japanese-version album!
Japanese albums normally goes for around RM100+ online, if you buy in Japan depending on the exchange rate, but usually around RM90.
However, i got this album for RM64 at PowerStation in OU ages ago!
So definately my most worthy buy!
With every good buys there must be some "not-so-happy-ones"...
Which are TVXQ!'s Tri-Angle and Rising Sun!
DON'T GET ME WRONG! I love both albums! And i love TVXQ!!
Its just both albums i got are chinese versions, or local versions. And i don't fancy collecting local versions for Japanese or Korean albums.
When i bought the album, i was too excited to care that i've gotten TVXQ!'s album, that it didn't hit me with the fact i could've just got both albums in Korean-version online! GAH!
Now i regret, but too late nyah (= =")?
Maybe i should sell it off and use the money to buy the Korean versions? Hehehe!
Anyways, here's something to cheer you (me) up!
LUG's FIRST ALBUM!
This album was not released, not for sale and even have signatures on both the booklet and CD!
I got it during the Shinhwa concert in Singapore thanks to Felix Felicis, big puppy eyes and miscommunication, ㅋㅋㅋ!
They were giving out the CDs if we purchase the official merchandises, however, soon they were running out of CDs so they limit it to that you have to buy at least one of all merchandises to get the CD.
After i bought my stuffs, she didn't give me the CD, so i stood there waiting, trying to get the attention of the lady who sold me the stuff. She was busy entertaining after customers, till i manage to get her attention and told her "Y.U.G." indicating i didn't get the album (she's Korean).
She went "???" but still smiling and really polite. I told her "Y.U.G." again and smile and all, and she went "OH!~" and gave me the album!
YEAH!
However, upon getting the album, only i realise the group's name is "L.U.G."!... erm... woops?
(L.U.G. were the opening performance for Shinhwa's concert in Singapore!)
Oh, and this girl actually approached me after i got it and even wanted to buy it from me (i think S$10?), but luckily for the love of CDs i didn't sell it to her! I didn't even know it was autographed when she asked me, so really luckily i didn't sell it to her!
Selling it had never even crossed my mind actually, i was happy with it even though i don't know who they were that time!
And now the best, MY PROUDEST COLLECTION!
MY w-inds. CD COLLECTION XD!~
My w-inds. singles are all Japan version (i never buy singles - waste money - except on special occasions!), though my first 3 w-inds. album are local version, ageha, THANK YOU and JOURNEY are Japan version and the DVDs are a mixture of local version and Taiwan version.
I didn't bother with Japan version for the DVDs cause they are more expensive, and there's no subtitles. The Taiwan version has chinese subs, and the only good part of the local version is they are cheaper (but no subs somehow).
Although my first 3 w-inds. album are local versions, it was because i couldn't get the Japanese versions last time due to various reasons, but whatever, all my latest w-inds. albums and singles are Japanese versions now! Even THANK YOU was Japanese version bought locally (at a good price too, better than buying from Japan, kekeke!)!

Oh, but this deserve a mention, as much as i love my Keita, i really hate his first album (= =").
I got it the same time i got Brian's album. Brian's album cost half Keita's album's price, but the quality is like WOW!
Keita's album is double Brian's price, but the quality of the booklet is so filmsy i feel like going to Keita and throw the album cover at his head (which i did eventually)!
I really do, and its the first time i had ever wanted to abuse Keita even! So you can see really how mad i am!
Eitherways, i love you all the same! NYAH XD!~

No, i'm NEVER going to reveal where these CDs are kept, for fear of anyone breaking in to kidnap my collection which i had kept so fine and well after all this years, and after so much trouble of getting it and all!
