Unreasonable.

Seriously lar. How thick can you get?

Ok, this is a rather long story. Bear with me.
To start of, DBKL used to frequently pave the main road (forgot the name) outside Pasaraya TTDI, Star Enterprise and Public Bank TTDI Branch. You know, the road leading to 1-Utama from TTDI, and vice versa.

The red line is the stretch of road i'm talking about.

We are totally used to smooth and nice roads, because even if there is the tiniest pothole, it will be paved faster than you can say "cepat". Yes, we are thoroughly spoilt.
Though after election or some time then lar, one fine day, DBKL decide to totally forgot about us - except to fine you if you didn't park properly - but otherwise, yes, we were totally ignored. It was like you are drinking the best vodka in the world, and suddenly they give you air longkang. No, it was worst than that.

They stopped paving the roads, and potholes erupt on the roads faster than a teen approaching puberty... you get the gist of it. Driving through it is worst than a ride on a faulty roller coaster. Think a lady in her 30s who has never worn high heels in her life and with no sense of balance whatsoever, suddenly being given a 5-inch stiletto heel.

At least the bumpy part was only on the road to 1-Utama. The road from OU was still fine. The walkways, roadside parking near the shoplots and all are also fine. It was the road (towards OU) which was causing hell for TTDI residents who have to use it everyday.

It was worst when you have to use that road everyday. Initially there was a solution; to drive on the right side, then on the left, back to right, and before the traffic light back to the left, and you'll be fine. Bumpy, but not that bad.
But soon, it all turns equally bumpy, so there's no point swerving here and there like a drunkard in daylight.


And here comes the juicy part, on how thick DBKL is.
Remember that i said apart from that road, everything else was fine?
Well, one fine day, just last week to be exact, DBKL decides that they have too much money in their pockets, so they dig up the walkway on both sides.

Yes, so brilliant aren't they? Why haven't i thought of that?

Then, they consulted their accountants, and decided that "Hey, we still have a lot of money lar", so they decided to dig up the roadside parking as well, thank you very much.

And due to all those "digging up", it caused that road to be filled with sand, rocks, pebbles and what not nada nada, that ultimately, now BOTH side of the road is bumpy. If you just get a nose job, refrain from going on those roads at all cost. I can assure you your nose will fall off 10 seconds into the road.


I seriously don't get the point in those digging-up jobs lar. Unless if it means smoother roads. But seriously, might as well fix the road which was giving trouble first (the bumpy road towards OU), rather than disturbing the one which was fine all along right?

TTDI Residents should start an angry mob and look for their accountants. Kacau kacau.
